Why can't MPs just shut up?

I've just been watching BBC Parliament for about half an hour and I'm absolutely sickened. MPs are chatting throughout the entire session, completely ignoring speakers and above all, they're being rude. The speaker chooses a person to speak and there's a huge raucous of people yelling their personal opinions of the MP before they even get to speak, like they're 5 years old. An MP was just chosen to speak and several members said "Aye Aye, Geordie girl" as well as other rude comments which I think is inappropriate at the best of time, not least in Parliament.
Honestly, the behaviour in the House of Commons is worse than in a bottom set Year 8 class in a school for children with behaviour problems. Rather than debating political issues, most of the time seems to be spent with coming up with

how many years tuition fee loans and finance for vocational courses

Hello! :)
Could you tell me how many years is a EU student entitled to obtain tuition fee loans? Let’s suppose I obtain a loan for my first year of a course and I realize that course is not what I wanted and I drop out at the end of the first year. Then, if I enroll on a new 3-year course, can I obtain again tuition fee loans for each of the 3 years?(I mean for the entire new course?) If yes, how do I notify Student Finance about dropping out from the first course and about enrolling on a new one, and how do I apply again for a tuition fee loan? Do I have to complete another new student application form? Or do I have to complete a returning student application form along with a change of situation form? Moreover, do I need to have a serious reason for dropping out from my first course? Or

Sixth form quick question about change in momentum

If an object of constant mass slows down and you are asked to find the change of momentum, if mv-mu is negative would you express your answer as a positive value or negative value? I know that you can have a negative momentum as its a vector and a negative force too.
Also if you do write the positive value down then when you find the force, by dividng by time, would you express this as a negative value or write in the ..... direction?

hanges to resits?

Hi, not sure if this is the right forum to post this in but I'm just wondering when A2 resits are next year? Can we still resit in November or January despite the new year 13's only being able to sit their exams in June, or does it work that way for everyone even if you're resitting? x

Edexcel GCSE Maths calc paper (higher) - Likely questions.

If you think a certain topic is likely to come up on the calc paper because it wasn't on the non calculator paper post it here for people to focus revision for the last 2 days.
Circle geometry is probably going to come up, don't think there was anything at all on circles on the non-calc paper. Cant think of anything else.
This is for the higher paper.

As the title asks... are mathematicians demanded in other areas of industry a lot?

Undergraduate Stretching factor of space

I recently attended a talk that tried to explain how the 6 days of creation can be explained by our current view of time (i.e: the universe is about 13.7 bn years old).
Part of his proof quoted the value: 900 billion as the stretching factor of space from nucleosynthesis until today.
I have failed to find such a value on the internet and as such am dubious about his theory. I was hoping someone could point me in the correct direction to finding the value (i have spend a lot of time searching google and have failed to source the values)

South East Asia, book accomadation as you go along?

Howdy. Going for 3 weeks to Vietnam, a week in Cambodia and then a few weeks in Thailand over June/July/early August. Was wondering if we (there's 2 girls) should book accomadation in advance now? Or when we arrive? Or a few days before each stop?
I don't want to miss out on meeting other travellers and being spontaneous but I don't want to end up stuck with nowhere to stay or get ripped off!
Thanks :)
Have used hostel world for other travelling and I was planning on using it for SE Asia too.
EDIT: Should we book sleeper trains in advance?

Computer health checks without installing an OS?

I've got a job volunteering at a Charity who have a huge number of computers that they've had donated to them. I've been asked to check which ones work and if they don't, to find which components work and which are faulty, to be sold or used in other computers which can then be donated to people who can't afford to buy a PC themselves.
I haven't started yet, but I've thought of a number of potential issues that I'm not really sure how to solve, and I was wondering if anyone would be able to help.
Firstly, obviously I've got to format the HDD if we're going to be giving these computers away, but this charity obviously hasn't got the money to buy a new copy of windows for every PC and I can't use Linux because the people who are going to be receiving them are going to be really basic users.

Sixth form Electric force

Calculate the electric force between the muon and the proton in the muonic hydrogen atom
In the mark scheme, they used the formula F = kQ
but they used +1.6x10
for both Q
and Q
? Due to this, they got a positive answer for the electric force between them. Why are they using a positive value for the charge of the muon rather than negative?

Part-time FdSc Motorsport Engineering. How many days a week am I expected to study?

Hi everyone
So here are some questions. Does anyone know how many days a week am I expected to study as a part-time student? When do I get to choose the modules for my first year at Uni? Also, am I free to choose the exact days of the week that I prefer to study?
I emailed these questions to Uni that I'm intending to study, but they did not reply (It's been a couple of months now).
I would be very grateful for any answers

Possible to be 'dumped' by a friend?

Is it possible that when you get to know someone, they are only putting you on audition to see if you are interesting or not?
If they don't find you interesting, they effectively 'dump you' and move on, and don't make any more effort with you again.
I feel this happened to me recently, and I am not sure why.
