HumorOutcasts.com is a place to write, laugh and think. It is the result of a brainstorming session between several humor writers who longed for a site that would allow them to push the envelope and spread their creative wings. On this site you will find humorists, stand-up comics, entertainers, cartoonists and writers of serious subject matter ? all who believe in the power of humor. We hope you take your time and read the work of the writers here who cover a wide variety of topics. The work posted ranges from G-rated material to more mature material but the goal is to stay within respectable limits for the modern family. Still, there is something for everyone.

Comment on Lies, lies and more lies by Lisa Newlin

Donna, you should NEVER believe anyone who says it happened to a friend; especially an aunt’s friend. Translation = lies. All lies.

Wayne Newton and Elvis’ Ghost

While performing in a theater in Las Vegas, Wayne Newton says that he saw the ghost image of Elvis standing on a balcony. How could anyone doubt him? Of course it was real. Where in Las Vegas can one find an Elvis impersonator?

Comment on Please – Don’t Ma’am Me by Kevin Arbogast

While you do have a very good point; Kristen, there is a problem with using the contraction M’lady. You see, M’lady is a contraction for ‘My Lady’ and not ‘Miss’ & ‘Lady’. While in the olden times, this would not be a problem (as women’s rights began to evolve), this does become a problem for modern-day society as both women and men would find offense in calling a woman “their” lady. Although the speaker may not mean to claim the lady for themselves, it is often misconstrued as such.
Although, perhaps what you say could have some truth: Perhaps if society started using M’lady, they would adjust and it become the new norm. We can only hope.

The End of Men

Scientists have determined that the Y chromosome will die out and men will become extinct in 5 million years. What does that mean for the future of the world? 1)Toilet seats will be made in just the down position. 2)Women will finally be ordained priests 3) And Lesbians, Lesbians, Lesbians!

If I wanted a Nic Travolta t-shirt, I would have asked for one.

The one thing I don’t want in life is bitterness. The only time I have ever been bitter was when I drank a pint of bitter on a bitter cold night, listening to “Bittersweet Symphony” by The Verve. Ever since the day before yesterday, all I’ve ever wanted was not to be bitter and a John Travolta t-shirt. To say I’m bitter right now is a massive understatement. Right now I’m as cheesed off with life as a great big cheese grater that’s really cheesed off in a great big way. It was my birthday. I asked for a small present. It wasn’t a lot to ask for. That’s why I thought I would have a good chance of getting it. A John Travolta t-shirt is what I asked for. A John Travolta t-shirt was not the present I was presented with:

The true story of the brilliant son of a bitch.

Genius is a word used far too often. When I look in the mirror, I see a genius staring back. Whatever I do, is the work of a genius. When I finally rid the world of the so-called music of Bon Jovi, I will be declared the genius that I truly am. Until that day, I hold my hands up and admit that there is but one true genius among us. This is the true story of said genius:

Love, Montana Excerpt

We are happy to bring you an excerpt from Love, Montana the debut novel by Deb Martin- Webster. Love, Montana is the story of Rose and Montana Joe. The novel mostly takes place in Montana and it is a sweeping romance with a good dose of humor. It is available on Amazon in print and kindle. I was surprised the room had an internet connection. I hooked up my laptop and checked my email. As I’ve come to expect there was one from Joe. Fr: Montana Joe To: Rose Subject: Angel Flyin’ to Close to the Ground Dear Rose, You’re in your office . . . busy being the efficient art columnist . . . sailin’ your way through another sea of administrative hassles and editing problems when . . . an unannounced visitor bursts through your door. . .you look up startled to see a tall, rustic ol’ Montana cowboy, w

HO Interviews Suzy Soro Author of Celebrity sTalker

Comedian Suzy Soro is author of Celebrity sTalker which is now available on Amazon.com and other internet sites and bookstores. Her funny “memoir” is getting rave reviews from readers and is climbing the charts. 1. How did you come up with the name for your book, Celebrity sTalker? The title popped into my head after HumorOutcasts asked me if I had an idea for a book. A lot of my punch lines also pop into my head. It’s a relief that I don’t have to think too hard about the answers to some things but also worrisome because who the hell am I channeling? And where were they when I was taking the SAT’s? 2. You seem to have a lot of encounters with stars. You call them encounters; the police call them violating parole. 3. This is your first book. How would you describe the writing process that

College Bound and Gagged is Hollywood-bound. Really!

The countdown to college admission is filled with anxiety. As a parent, I’ve been through it with both of my children and lived to tell about it. In fact, I documented the experience, humor, and strategy in a book. College Bound and Gagged: How to Help Your Kid Get Into a Great College Without Losing Your Savings, Your Relationship, or Your Mind is a parent survival guide for the college-bound journey. It’s always easier to talk about college admission once the experience is behind you. Little did I know that, after the book’s publication, I’d be wrapped up in another exciting admission decision. In early 2012, I was contacted to sign a release for my book to appear in Admission, a feature film starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd. After confirming this wasn’t a hoax by mean-spirited strangers

A picture is worth 500 words + another 500 words

“I have a dream,” said I to whoever was listening. Truth be known, there weren’t many listening but those who were, were fixated on my four words. I decided that the time was right to expand on the words but remembered the old adage that a picture is worth 500 words + another 500 words. I shut up and employed my prop, to perfect effect, if I say so myself:
