I heard that you get done for plagiarism when using these so what is the actual purpose of them? I own the York Notes book for "A Picture of Dorian Gray" but Oscar Wilde and it is quite useful, but what do I do with the book if I may get plagiarized for using the notes from it? Please help.

My school offers english combined as well as english literature. I enjoy english in general but thought I might slightly prefer the language Alevel.
